Keep your account secure
FolioProjects protects your data with secure login, encrypted connections, and detailed session history. You can strengthen your account by choosing a strong password, monitoring activity, and following best practices.
How we keep your data secure
- Encrypted by default: All traffic between your browser and FolioProjects is secured with HTTPS.
- Session awareness: You can see where and when your account is active in the Security tab.
- Privacy by design: Activity details (like sentiment votes) are stored but never displayed with personal identifiers.
- Strict access controls: Only you can change your password or update your profile once logged in.
- Data policy: We do not sell your personal information. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
- Phishing protection: We will never contact you asking for your password. If you receive such a message, do not respond.
Password
Change your password
You can update your password any time from the Profile tab. Enter a new password in the blank field and save.
- Use at least 12 characters with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Avoid reusing passwords from other sites.
- After changing, you can sign out other sessions for extra safety.
If you suspect compromise
If you think someone else has your password:
- Change it immediately from the Profile tab.
- Review active sessions under the Security tab.
- Sign out devices or sessions you don’t recognize.
- Contact support if suspicious activity continues.

The Security tab shows where you’re signed in. You can sign out of devices you no longer use.

Don’t recognize something? Change your password and sign out other sessions.
Sign-in alerts
Enable alerts from the Notifications tab (Security category) to get notified when there’s a new login or password change.
- Choose your channels: Email, in-app, or push (if available).
- Alerts include approximate location and device details when possible.
Best practices
- Use a password manager and unique passwords for every site.
- We will never contact you asking for your password—don’t share it with anyone.
- Check your sessions regularly and sign out devices you don’t recognize.
- Beware of phishing: only log in at folioprojects.com, and double-check email senders before clicking links.
- Lock your devices and keep your operating system and browser up to date.
Need help?
If you think your account is compromised, change your password right away, sign out other sessions, and contact support with the time, IP, and any suspicious activity you noticed.
